Antique/Vintage Boys Bespoke Linen Vest - Hand-Drawn Maker’s Mark - Early 20th Century
Historical Provenance & Authenticity
This is a rare, museum-quality bespoke children’s piece. The interior lining features two distinct marks of high-end provenance that date the piece to the mid-century or earlier:
1. The Proprietor: Hand-marked name "Wallace Bryant," partner of the prestigious Kerley, Reed & Bryant haberdashery (est. 1916).
2. The Maker: A unique hand-drawn maker’s mark, a traditional tailor’s signature used to identify the master craftsman who hand-stitched the garment.
Quality & Heritage Details
• Fabric: Authentic premium white linen with a traditional "slub" weave.
• Hardware: Original gold-tone nautical crest buttons.
